Statistics on back pain is widely documented with an estimation that 80% of us suffer from back pain at some stage in our life.
Anything that causes extra stress or pressure on the muscles, ligaments, discs or joints of the spine can cause back pain. When this happens your natural and healthy movement is restricted, the back can feel tight and the body quite stiff. This creates an imbalance that can affect the rest of your body in other ways such as not feeling 100%, headache or migraine and even emotionally stretched.
Causes of back pain include: weakness, lack of sleep, depression/anxiety, stress, smoking, dehydration, footwear, lack of flexibility, incorrect posture, physical condition and the ageing process.
